This painting portrays the sunlight on the neck and back of this magnificent bird and show its' strength and magesty. This is the old 1936 Plymouth that my dad "junked" over the ridge at the old home place in MacAdam, New Brunswick. It's still there so I took a picture and painted the scene. It has a beautiful patina on the fenders and there's a huge tree growing through the spot where the motor once was.

Forgotten is framed in a dark wood liner frame in keeping with the rustic look of the painting.

Ocean waves have always been a beauty that I love to capture on canvas. I decided to make this painting a mysterious scene of a wave folding over itself with a beautiful womans' face in the "glamour spot" of the wave. As I painted, other faces seemed to become obvious, so I played them up and named this Mystery of the Deep. The colours are very soft in hue so as to give a calmness to the wave.
